Keynote Topics:
- Future-Proofing Your Brain in the Age of AI
Drawing on her bestselling book, Baldeo argues that AI itself isn't harming us — outsourcing our critical thinking is. She shows leaders how to protect focus, reasoning, and judgment as AI tools reshape how the brain works. - The Neuroscience of Resilience and Change
Baldeo walks audiences through how the brain navigates dramatic change — the physiology behind why we act and react as we do, and how to build the mental habits that make individuals and teams more resilient. - Demystifying AI for Any Audience
Baldeo translates the dense lexicon of AI — neural networks, machine learning, generative and neuromorphic systems — into plain language, showing non-technical audiences what it means for their industry and how to actually use it. - The Human Brain as the Real Competitive Advantage
Baldeo makes the case that as AI capability rises, the decisive asset becomes the human mind that knows how to use it — and how leaders can strengthen metacognition, creativity, and judgment rather than let them atrophy.
speaker Bio:
Sarah Baldeo is an AI neuroscientist, technologist, and entrepreneur with nearly two decades of leadership experience, and the CEO of the neurotech and innovation consultancy ID Quotient. A recurring neurotechnology expert on national television across CTV, CBC, and NBC, she launched her debut book, 100 Ways to Future-Proof Your Brain: In the Age of AI, in 2025 — a science-backed guide to protecting focus, reasoning, and cognitive resilience in an era of accelerating automation. Her keynotes sit at the intersection of neuroscience, AI, and change, translating rigorous brain science into practical tools for leaders and teams.
A neuroscience graduate of York University with an Executive MBA from the University of Toronto, Baldeo previously held executive roles at CGI and Deloitte Canada, where she architected AI and biometric systems for major institutions. She delivered her first TEDx talk, "Ballistic Interruption: The Neuroscience of Resilience," in 2023, guest lectures at universities including UCLA and the University of Toronto, and has founded and exited two consulting firms. Named to Global Business Elites' 40 Under 40 and a 2025 finalist for the Women in AI North America Awards, she draws openly on her own story — cancer survivor and long-time single parent — to speak about resilience from lived experience, not just the lab.
Summary (Core Conviction):
Baldeo's central and deliberately contrarian argument is that AI is not making us stupider — but the way we use it can be. Her distinction is between using AI (which augments) and outsourcing critical thinking to it (which atrophies the reasoning pathways that leadership depends on). Grounded in neuroscience and tested through her consulting practice, her message reframes the AI conversation away from tools and toward the human brain that operates them: in her framing, the scarce, appreciating asset in any organization is a mind that stays sharp as the machines get smarter. What distinguishes her on stage is the combination of hard brain science, plain-language translation, and a personal resilience narrative — making the neuroscience immediately usable for audiences who will never read the underlying research.
